skiing

we went cross-country skiing, but i didnt take the camera (which is good as it would now be in about 20 bits with the amount of times i fell on my ass.)so youll just have to imagine the actual event...

The Commute

i like the inside of the trams, they feel a lot cleaner and better designed than anything ive found in England. Probably not difficult though...

I have a terrible fear of being found taking pictures of people on the street. Its really annoying because id love to shoot more of this. we shall see...

A house on the train tracks. must be wonderful at night.

Sunset over the bay

I think that the only good thing that might be said about the light at this time of year here is that it allows plenty of time to get sunset style pictures. even if you dont want them. you have no choice.

Housewarming Bears

We had a housewarming celebration and i realised after i woke up the following day that i didnt take a single picture. Therefore i set about various remains of the event with a macro lens. This is from the top of a beautiful cake that almolst didnt survive the night.

The hallway

Its interesting to note some of the interesting lighting of everyday objects, this for example is the lift in our block of flats. i like the spill across the wall.

Im not quite sure what this boat does anymore, but its always in the harbour (presumably some tourist trap or other). still, i like the lines of the old sail boats.

Illuminated advertising sign for a magazine. For some reason there was something about the expression or pose (i cant quite place it)that seems to link with the title that makes me think of pirates. The fact the title was later translated as "treasure" made this even funnier... Aarre Jim Lad...
